Tracee & Billy’s Wedding

Ok. So I have to say that I LOVE what I do. I love photographing wonderful couples and I love the fact that the couples who come to me want something different.

When Tracee & Billy came in and met with me, I was so totally excited to meet them. I called Lisa to tell her that if this couple didn’t book me, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do because our styles seemed like a perfect fit. You see, Billy is in a rock band. And not just any band, he’s in Aquanet, my new favorite local band (mostly because I know every single song I’ve heard them play). They play the 80’s rock n roll that I grew up listening to, especially the hair bands.

So when they told me they were going to transform Woodland Hills into something very different, I believed them. And they didn’t disappoint. With the help of the girls at Social Butterflies, they made the place look totally different from what I had seen before. Let me say that the right lights make all the difference.

After a beautiful private moment, they had an incredible ceremony with some very personal vows. Then after getting the reception responsibilities out of the way, the guys went back to get into full concert dress and came out for the show. Billy not only had a chance to dance with his new bride to one of his favorite Aerosmith songs, he had a chance to serenade her with the support of the band.

And of course, I can’t post without thanking the incredible Lisa for all of her help and especially the shots of the rings and the two little ones who were taking a break while we were shooting the rest of the family.

Ok, seriously. On to the pics…
