So Saturday afternoon, Lisa and I headed off to Evergreen Presbyterian for Monica & Rob’s beautiful wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony before we all headed off to Central Station for an absolutely incredible reception.
I have to say that this crowd truly knew how to party. The place looked amazing, and the band was absolutely incredible. I’ve seen some really great bands, and even written about them from time to time. Monica told us that they managed to book The Super T Band before they landed the gig for Jenna Bush’s wedding. And I can see why they hired them. Super T came out for the last set wearing his awesome costume. They kept people rocking the entire night, and every song was the best version I had heard live.
Also, I have to mention two other special people, Elvis and Wade. You see, Monica and Rob told me before the wedding that two special guests would be showing up. Elvis showed up for the reception and was even gracious enough to sing a song with the band. Wade is a “groomsman” who was unable to be there because he was overseas.
