Wow, it feels like months since my last post. So I really wanted to have this up yesterday, but the holiday rush is on and there are lots of things brewing.
On to the business at hand. Some of you loyal readers will remember “Krissy & Tim’s Wedding” from October of last year. Becca is Krissy’s sister. She and Jake called me several months ago, and I was really excited to meet with them and hear about all of the plans for their wedding.
The ceremony was at the incredibly beautiful Germantown Presbyterian Church . I was privileged to have Lisa and Darius with me again. Lisa did a great job of running around getting detail shots and some other angles. And Darius makes my job so much easier.
So anyone in the Memphis area knows that Saturday’s weather was not ideal for being outside. But after a beautiful private moment and all of the group shots were done, we snuck outside for a couple of quick shots. Then between the ceremony and the reception, they braved the weather again for another fun photo.
Oh, and there is a reason for the clown shoes. Becca’s dad was a clown and the shoes are custom made for his feet. You would never know by how serious he is all the time…just kidding.
Then the party got going at The Racquet Club of Memphis where people were really having a lot of fun. Between Becca’s dad dancing with all of the bridesmaids and her brother leading a group in a “Thriller” line dance, the floor stayed busy.
