Molly & Eric’s Wedding | Memphis Wedding Photographer

I met Molly & Eric at Tiffany & Dan’s wedding last year.  And from the time they came in to meet with me about their wedding, we’ve always had a lot of fun.  We even went and got beers during their engagement session.

Darius and I headed out to Church of the Incarnation for Molly & Eric’s wedding.  We had great weather for when they had their private moment and then we got most of the group shots outdoors.  It was my first time shooting at the church, and I loved the gorgeous architecture.

After the ceremony, we all headed up the road to Woodland Hills for the reception.  I knew this crowd would party, and I was right.  Thanks for being so much fun.

Elise & Jeff’s Engagement | Memphis

Ok, so a week or so ago I headed over to Elise & Jeff’s house for their engagement session.  From the moment they came in for the consultation, we hit it off.  From movies to music choices, these two are just really cool.

We started around their house, and then headed over to Shelby Farms (with a quick stop by Deli Mexicana to cool off that made Toro the pinata happy) before making a run to Target.  The whole evening was a lot of fun and we had barely realized how much time had passed by.

Morgan & Brian’s Wedding, Part Two

Ok, so here’s the second and bigger blog post from Morgan & Brian’s wedding.  Lisa and I had so much fun all day long.  It was the first time for both of us to shoot at the Center for Southern Folklore, and I can tell you that we both hope it won’t be the last.

After the ceremony, we stayed outside to play in the gorgeous light just before the sun set.  Then we went in and the party really got going.  Any couple who has Commisary’s amazing BBQ at their wedding is alright by me.

Then, we asked them to go with us out to grab a few more shots.  It took some persuading to talk our way onto Beale Street (wedding dresses don’t have pockets for IDs), but we got there and got a really great shot.

Once we got back a few minutes later, things really got crazy.  And finally, they headed out to sparklers.

Thanks again, you two, for being so much fun.  And also for being uber patient on seeing these.

Enough gabbing, on to the photos…

Morgan & Brian’s Wedding, Part One

Ok, so I had processed some images for a sneak peek and even thought I had made a post.  Lo and behold, I went back through the blog after talking with Morgan and realized that I hadn’t actually done it.

So, they get two posts for being so patient.  A big ole post will be up Sunday with even more.  But for now, here are some from the early part of the day that I loved.

On to ze pics…

Janice & Bernard’s Wedding | Memphis Wedding Photography

Ok, so this post is long overdue.  I’ve been working to get caught up and am working my way through the blog posts.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Darius and I headed out to the Botanic Garden for Janice & Bernard’s wedding.  After they saw each other, we headed out to take some fun portraits throughout the Gardens.  I loved their chemistry together and how they had a natural flow with each other.

Diane and Alisa had everything running smoothly.  After a gorgeous ceremony, we headed back to Hardin Hall and the party got started.  Everyone danced and had a great time until the couple was ready to leave.

Ok, enough talk.  On to the photos…

Tiffany & Chris’s Wedding | Memphis Wedding Photography

So a few weeks ago, Lisa and I headed over to Brooks Museum for Tiffany & Chris’s wedding.  The place looked great as the folks at L & Jay did a fabulous job.

The moment at the start of the ceremony when Tiffany placed a flower in a chair for her dad brought tears to almost everyone’s eyes.  After a beautiful ceremony, we headed over to the reception and the party really got going.

Their band, 2nd Coming, were amazing and kept people on the dance floor all night.

Ok, here are a few quick faves to tide you over until next week when I’m back in town.
