STUDIO J BLOG » for all that you are

What a way to return to blogging. I am excited to show you the first of four posts for Chrisma + Sasha’s amazing Austin wedding. Let’s start with the Grashanti and Piti ceremonies as well as our afternoon shoot on the mean streets of Austin.

A special shout out to my incredible friend Humza for all of his help throughout the weekend.

There’s plenty more to come, but for now it’s time for the images…

What a wonderful couple! Despite a lot of craziness, they rolled with it all and had an amazing day. They wrote some of the sweetest vows I’ve ever heard.

The reception was a blast and included some incredible toasts. It’s always great when everyone is there for the right reason, to celebrate the love that the couple shares for each other.

Enough chatter, on to the images…

I was so excited when I got the call from Kathleen of Southern Event Planners to ask if I would shoot the wedding of one of her best friends. Jana and Jason are an amazing couple and they had a gorgeous day for a wedding. The venue was a new one for me, but the folks at The Barn at Crawfordsville were awesome.

And while I have given her shout outs before, I must praise my wonderful friend Annabella for everything. Thank you so much!

Enough talk, on to the photos.

I’m so excited to share Suzanne + Curry’s wedding with all of you. Annabella and I had an amazing day hanging out with these two.

There is nothing quite like the experience of being around a wonderful couple on their big day when they are so in love and are surrounded by family and friends who love them.

Some loyal blog followers will notice a format change. It’s part of a series of changes that are coming over the next few weeks.

Enough of that, on to the images…

Happy holidays everyone! I’m so excited to have an amazing wedding to show you all. I was incredibly excited to shoot Terinni and Erik’s wedding from the first time they came in to meet with me.

The girls got ready over at The Hilton and after some portraits, they all headed over to The Tower Room for the ceremony where the guys had been all afternoon. The ceremony was super sweet.

Afterwards, everyone headed in to the reception. Phillip Ashley had prepared some custom chocolates and cocktails for everyone. Then after dinner, some dances, and toasts, DJ Devin Steel really got everyone onto the dance floor and kept them going until it was time to leave.

As always, a very special shout out of appreciation to Annabella of Annabella Charles Photography.
