So on a crazy, stormy Saturday afternoon, Darius and I headed over to Evergreen Presbyterian for an awesome wedding day. Despite the weather, spirits were high. The weather broke long enough for us to grab some shots outside before the ceremony. Afterwards, we all took off for the reception at Central Station. Angela Mazanti had the place looking fabulous. In fact, the guys from Creation Studios agreed that the place looked the best we had ever seen it. The party got going and was rolling along until the big tornado warnings. Everyone rushed off to the garage, with some liquour, to ride it out. And after everything cleared out, people headed to Paula & Raiford's Disco for the after party. Ok. On to the photos...

I'm kind of delayed getting this post up, but anyone who's been in or around Memphis lately will understand what a crazy week it's been around here. Recently, Darius and I headed over to the fabulous Le Pavillon for Ashley & Derek's wedding. When we got there, Olivia and Maurice of the amazing Delectables Catering were already getting things set up. They had a really sweet private moment, and then we gathered up the bridal party to go get some fun shots. Then after a really beautiful ceremony, the real party began. You've seen the sneak peek, now it's time for the real thing. Aubrey and Lars were truly amazing to work with on the wedding day. When we got to the reception at the always beautiful Hunt Phelan, the ladies at Southern Event Planners had made things look genuinely amazing. There were some really touching toasts and then when the party really started their crowd really let loose. Thanks for a great way to wrap up the 2009 wedding season.

There will be another post later to discuss the rest of that thought, but for now we'll stay with the wedding day. Page made all of the incredible details, including the bouquets, and on top of that she helped decorate the reception venue. After a very touching ceremony at Independent Presbyterian, we all headed downtown to the Jay Etkin Gallery. The wonderful Cindy Krag did a phenomenal job with
