On a gorgeous Sunday afternoon at the end of October, I headed out with Lisa for what was my last Memphis wedding (at least for the foreseeable future). And what an awesome couple to end with.

Shondra & James were totally relaxed all day. We had an amazing time working with them. The wedding was at the beautiful TPC Southwind, and Andria Lewis and her crew made it look even better.

Erin & Garry’s Wedding | Memphis Wedding Photographer

Lisa and I headed downtown on a gorgeous September Saturday afternoon for Erin & Garry’s awesome wedding. We had the perfect weather to take photos outside before the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we all headed to the Balinese Ballroom for an awesome reception where Party Planet totally rocked the place.

Robin & Jonathan’s Wedding

So in the first of several “post move” posts, I present Robin & Jonathan’s awesome wedding. I have a special place in my heart for small, intimate weddings. Early on a beautiful Saturday, I headed downtown for a very sweet wedding. Afterwards, the crowd of close friends and family headed over for a beautiful brunch reception overlooking the river.

Last weekend, Lisa and I headed to the always beautiful Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. The weather was warm, but everyone was really great and we got some awesome photos as a result. Then after the ceremony, we moved on to the Cadre Building where the party really amped up (check out their photo booth pics in an earlier post if you don’t believe me).

Ok, it promises to be a busy week on the blog so stay tuned. First order of business is Courtney & Lee’s wedding.

Lisa and I headed to Independent Presbyterian on a very hot August Saturday. One of my more favorite images was taken there several years ago and since we couldn’t go outside, I asked if they were up for a bit of reboot. They loved the idea so we retooled my “Last Supper” image, and I’m now torn as to which one I love the most.

After the ceremony, we all headed down to the Balinese Ballroom for the reception. After some crazy dancing, we snuck out to grab a few photos at a super cool building nearby.

Megan & Jeremy’s Wedding | Memphis Wedding Photographer

Lisa & I headed down to the Balinese Ballroom a few weeks ago on a nice hot Saturday afternoon for Megan & Jeremy’s fabulous wedding. Everything was incredibly beautiful, and they were amazing enough to brave the heat for some photos outside.

After an amazing ceremony, the party really got going. We snuck away for a few photos upstairs before they headed out.

About a week ago, Lisa and I headed over to the beautiful Independent Presbyterian Church for Kristin & Adam’s wedding. They were a total blast to hang out with and after the reception wrapped up, we all headed downtown to brave the heat and get some more awesome photos. We finally wrapped it up on the roof of the Peabody where they took one of their first photos together.

Katie & Colin’s Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer

Here is the post of Katie & Colin’s amazing wedding in the Dominican Republic. I flew down on Sunday to scope out the place and enjoy a little R&R. The moment I saw the giant gazebo, I knew what I wanted to do if the weather would cooperate. Sure enough, things worked out just right and you can see how it looks below.

After the beautiful ceremony, we headed up for the reception on a huge outdoor patio. It was kinda warm, and then as the temperatures cooled the party got jumping. I’ve never seen the long balloons used at a reception, but they were really fun and really worked in the photos.
