Ok. Another sneak peek for you. I promise big blog posts with lots of images are coming soon. It's just that me and Photoshop are spending way too much quality time together. Ok, here's a few images for you...

So yesterday afternoon before I set about packing bags, I had the awesome opportunity to photograph Andrew. I will be adding a portrait side to the business over the next few months, and seniors will be a huge part of that side. You may recognize Andrew from some other posts. I photographed both of his sister's weddings, and he modeled for the Sugar Bowl cupcakes shoot last year. We picked one of the hottest days of the year so far, but he was a great sport and totally pulled off all of the crazy ideas I had. Ok, on to the pics...

Nicole and Will flew in from LA last week to take care of things for their wedding, and we shot their engagement session while they were in town. I love truly amazing moments. And I was really excited when Nicole asked me about documenting the moment she showed Will his Tiffany wedding band that she bought him. Seeing his reaction and their interaction was a genuinely touching moment. We had a wonderful time hanging out all evening. I can hardly wait for their wedding. Enough talk, on to the pics...

No, I haven't dropped off the face of the planet.  I had a long but wonderful weekend.  I went to Nashville to shoot with the incredible Chuck Arlund at one of his weddings.  I'll post images soon. Today was filled with lots of errands to get ready for the next two days.  I will be out of town until Thursday and will not have access to phone or email.  I will respond to everyone once I get back, but until then I'll be sort of unreachable. See you on Friday.

So I have already had a couple of people want to know what I thought about the movie. First off, I have to tell you that I grew up reading Spiderman and really only knew a little about Iron Man.  In the last few weeks, I checked out more of the story. Wow.  The movie flowed really well.  The story never dragged and they infused just the right amount of comedy to keep things lively. Robert Downey Jr. turned out to be the absolute perfect fit for the role.  Gwyneth was just right for her part as well. And I have to tell you that the CGI was flawless.  I honestly never looked at the screen and went "That's obviously CGI".  They integrated things better than any movie I've seen before. My Top 3 Suggestions Regarding The Movie: 1.  Go see it on digital projection.  If you're in Memphis, go to the Paradiso (preferably screen #1).
