Ok. So it's time for another installment of my random musings. It's really late when I am writing and I am still wound up over the incredible shoot I had a few hours ago. For those of you who I may not have responded to as quickly in recent days, you'll see why soon. Ok.  So there are several posts that I have mentioned two or three times and just have never gotten around to...well here is the first of those. Some of you already know that I got my first tattoo back in March when I went to Vegas.  For those who didn't know, now you know. I will go ahead and answer the #1 question that I am asked, "What is it?" It is a variation of a Celtic symbol for the trinity combined with red, green, and blue (for photography).  I wanted something different, so I went to a custom artist in Vegas who does a lot of the work for one of my mentors AltF ( www.altf.com ). Ok.  After all of the encouraging words I received after the passing of my grandfather, I wanted to take the chance to remind everyone of something very important to me. I know that most of you already know this, but photographs are incredibly important to me.  Of all of the photographs that I have taken, two of my favorites are below.  I was blessed enough to have the skills and opportunity to capture my grandfather in a way that we will always be able to remember him.  The one where he was smiling was from Thanksgiving of last year, and the other was at Christmas.  I took a print of the smiling one to the viewing and I heard person after person talk about how it really captured who he was. The important thing is that you pick up the camera and not say "I'll do it later."  You never know if there

Ok.  So there is this sort of game going around where people are “tagging” other bloggers.  As far as I know, it’s just a “photographer thing”.  Well, I got hit last week by one friend and hit this week by another, so I guess I better get my entry up fast and pass this thing on.So I’m supposed to list the people who tagged me, tell you the reader eight things about me that most of you don’t know, and then link to eight other people and send on the email.
