Ok. So I'm about to post the images from the dinner we all shared on Thursday night, but I have to show you a few images I took for me once we got to Bordeaux. Bordeaux is a gorgeous city that combines old world architecture with new world style for a truly fun experience. I saw all of this during the afternoon when Darius and I walked up to have drinks with the family. I loved the organ player and his cat. Paris Day One
Sep 20084 Comments »Ok. I really intended to blog this before I went to bed last night, but let's just say it was a full day. Let me start by saying that it only took one day for me to thoroughly fall in love with Paris. Everything is so amazing. I'll report more on this later, but I'm stoked for day two. So I walked most of the day, which is a great way to see the city. But when you combine it with all the stairs of the Eiffel Tower and the ones in the Arc de Triomphe, it makes for one tired body (and a couple of blisters). I also made it to Musee D'Orsay which is gorgeous. Today's agenda includes the Louvre and Notre Dame and whatever else I decide to throw in. One little note. So after a long day of travel to Hartford, CT. I can't sleep and had to post something that was just a great experience for me this week. When I went up to Nashville on Tuesday, I started thinkng about some of my favorite types of photography. I love street photography. I've always been inspired by others' images, but I have never gone out to the streets to actually shoot. So what did I do on Tuesday afternoon? You guessed it.
