So, I’m fresh back from the Dominican Republic where I went to photograph Katie & Colin’s amazing wedding. You’ll have to wait until next week to see those photos, but for now I present you with some of their engagement photos. By the way, any session that ends with a cold beer is automatically a winner in my book.

Caitlin & Jason’s Engagement | Memphis Engagement Photography

Last week, I met Caitlin & Jason downtown at Autozone Park. Jason and Caitlin met there, so what better place to start?

Then we played around downtown before heading to Cafe Ole, where they went for their first date. We got there early and they let us shoot around for a while.

Elise & Jeff’s Engagement | Memphis

Ok, so a week or so ago I headed over to Elise & Jeff’s house for their engagement session. From the moment they came in for the consultation, we hit it off. From movies to music choices, these two are just really cool.

We started around their house, and then headed over to Shelby Farms (with a quick stop by Deli Mexicana to cool off that made Toro the pinata happy) before making a run to Target. The whole evening was a lot of fun and we had barely realized how much time had passed by.

Rachael & Luke’s Engagement Session

About a week ago, I headed out with Rachael & Luke on a gorgeous afternoon. They both work at Windyke Country Club, so we started before heading out to Shelby Farms. After some time hanging out there, we headed on to Muddy’s Bake Shop and then wrapped the session up with a beer at Patrick’s.

I can’t wait for their wedding next month. It’s gonna be really cool and very different.

Neelam & Eric’s Engagement Session | Memphis Wedding Photographer

Sunday afternoon, I headed out with Neelam and Eric to shoot on an absolutely gorgeous day. We started at Shelby Farms to take a walk with their dogs.

Afterwards, we went out for a little golf. Turns out that Neelam is a really great golfer, and Eric, he loves the game. Finally, we headed out to Collierville for a few more shots.

So, I’m at a big photography convention in Nashville and I fell behind on the blogging over the weekend as everything went pretty crazy the last few days. But enough about me, on to the couple.

Molly and Eric are really good friends with Tiffany & Dan, and when we sat down and started talking about them I loved hearing all about their story. I love the way they interact with each other. They are so fun. We had to stop by the Celtic Crossing for some great beer.

Megan & Derek’s E-Session

So Monday, I headed out to shoot with Megan & Derek. I loved hanging out with these two. Derek kept me laughing all day. They brought their baby along for the first part of the shoot.

Derek was headed out the next morning for his transfer to Vancouver so they were both a little extra affectionate, which made for some awesome photos.

Kristen & Blake’s E-Session

Last Sunday afternoon, I headed out with Kristen & Blake. We went out to Rhodes College where Blake went to school.

After that, we headed off downtown for some really fun stuff. I am so proud of them for going out in the woods with me for some photos.
