Wow. So no images today, but I have something big to tell you all. Myia & Thomas, whose wedding will be in June, will be my 75th wedding to shoot. So they're getting $750 off. Towards the end of the month, I will be making a big announcement about my 100th wedding. I will be travelling home tomorrow and will be returning emails and phone calls like a mad man.
Ok, it's really late. But I am still posting before bed on Monday night...so it qualifies. Time for Monday's Musings (or 5 random thoughts on my mind)... 1. Rain. Rain, rain, go away. Come back another day. It's been raining all day long, and I'm really ready for a change. 2. College football. I love bowl games. I truly do. BUT I have to ask why it is the only major sport whose championship is not decided by a playoff. Absolutely ridiculous. 3. True Beauty. I caught a few minutes of this really stupid show. Don't get me wrong, watching a bunch of super shallow people make fools of themselves is kinda fun. But ABC freed up a time slot and money by cancelling "Pusing Daisies" so they could air garbage like this show??? 4. Gran Torino. Darius and I will be going to see the preview tomorrow night. I'll report back about it soon. 5.
Wow. So it is the start of a new year, and I have lots of exciting things planned for the year. I will be announcing most of them this month. I'll start with the first few days. Tomorrow, I'll post Jorden & Robert's wedding from just before Christmas and Saturday I'll post Connie & Tim's wedding. After that, I'll be updating a few sessions that I am lagging behind on. Also, I'll be updating the blog and the main site's overall look. But I have to do something fun for New Year's Day, so below is my top ten list of things from 2008. And for those who aren't technologically inclined, you'll have to excuse three of them. 10. Two lenses I bought this year. My 85/1.2 and my 45 tilt-shift. One totally rocks for portraits and the other dramatically changed my landscape and travel photography work. You'll see more of that in a
Wow. I have been such an absolutely horrible blogger. I won't go into all of the details publicly. I'll just say I've been busy on several fronts. I will say that I have a number of backlogged sessions to show you as well as more images from France to show you. But I have to start with the two most recent weddings. The plan is to have Monica & Stanford's wedding up by tomorrow and Ginny & Billy's by Friday. After that, I will start on the sessions. Ok. I can't leave you without any images, so here's one from Paris...
