Ok, so this post is long overdue.  I’ve been working to get caught up and am working my way through the blog posts.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Darius and I headed out to the Botanic Garden for Janice & Bernard’s wedding.  After they saw each other, we headed out to take some fun portraits throughout the Gardens.  I loved their chemistry together and how they had a natural flow with each other.

Diane and Alisa had everything running smoothly.  After a gorgeous ceremony, we headed back to Hardin Hall and the party got started.  Everyone danced and had a great time until the couple was ready to leave.

So a few weeks ago, Lisa and I headed over to Brooks Museum for Tiffany & Chris’s wedding.  The place looked great as the folks at L & Jay did a fabulous job.

The moment at the start of the ceremony when Tiffany placed a flower in a chair for her dad brought tears to almost everyone’s eyes.  After a beautiful ceremony, we headed over to the reception and the party really got going.

Their band, 2nd Coming, were amazing and kept people on the dance floor all night.

I’m still working feverishly to get caught up.  I’m heading out of town this weekend to celebrate the survival of 9 weddings in six weeks.

But on to the important stuff.  I met Kacie and her family several years ago when I worked in the Activities Department at Bellevue.  I saw them at the bridal show and we got to talking.  I was so excited when they called me to come in and talk about the wedding.

Lisa and I headed off to Bellevue for their really fun wedding.  We had a great time with the family.  And I recognized a lot of faces from my days there.

After they saw each other, we took some fun photos outside.  Their ceremony was really sweet, and Jeremy’s dad officiated.

I loved the two shots  we got of Kacie’s grandfather, who checked himself out of the hospital in order to make sure he was there for the wedding.  He was such a trooper.

We had a great time with you all.  Thanks for making things so great and so much fun…

Ok, I’m still grinding away trying to get the blog caught up.

A couple of weeks ago, Lisa and I headed out to the beautiful Windyke Country Club for Rachael & Luke’s Wedding.   Mona had everything running smoothly and Kim from Gestures had done a phenomenal job with all of the flowers.

After a really sweet and fun meeting, we got on with the group shots.  And as the sun started setting, Rachael and Luke made their way out onto the fairway for the ceremony.  I love her reaction at the end as they exited up the aisle.

Once the sun went down, the party cranked up.  And we managed to sneak off for a few minutes to get some fun photos with the tent behind them before they were ready to leave.

Ok,  I am long overdue on the posts you will be seeing over the next days.  And I won’t go into the details of what three amazing weddings in one weekend and then running out of your ADHD meds will do to a mind.

But it’s 2 a.m. and after agonizing over which of the many fabulous images would be cut to keep the post from being so big that it might not load, I’m ready to show them to you all.  My friend Josh joined me and Sara Beth for a beautiful Friday evening wedding out at Davies Plantation.

After a really sweet time together, we got some fun shots with the bridal party.  The ceremony was really sweet.  And then we headed over to the party, and DMP kept people on the dance floor all night long.

I really enjoyed all of the little emotional moments throughout the day.  And I love when people let their feelings show through.
