Hey all you wonderful blog followers,

I made an announcement about this a while back, but I wanted to have this information easily accessible for everyone. During my time in Memphis, I have been very privileged to work with so many awesome couples.

The journey is not over, it is simply taking a different turn. Studio J is being placed on a long hiatus as I am leaving to travel the world at the end of January. Those of you who have followed for a while will notice that there is a new look for the now combined site.

There will be opportunities coming soon to be a part of the journey ahead. In the meantime, feel free to check out my travel work at

On a gorgeous Sunday afternoon at the end of October, I headed out with Lisa for what was my last Memphis wedding (at least for the foreseeable future).  And what an awesome couple to end with.

Shondra & James were totally relaxed all day.  We had an amazing time working with them.  The wedding was at the beautiful TPC Southwind, and Andria Lewis and her crew made it look even better.

With two weddings left in my Memphis slate, I finally had the opportunity to shoot my first double wedding.  I’ve known Doug for a long time.  I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do something unique.  Below are images from Nicole & Jason and Paulette & Doug’s wedding.

A couple weeks ago, I met up with Katie & Colin for their Day After Session.  The weather was super hot at their wedding in the DR, so we were all thankful for the really mild weather with almost perfect skies.

After a couple of attempts to schedule a session that were thwarted by the Memphis weather, but finally we found what was an almost perfect Sunday afternoon.  The weather finally cooperated and we got some fabulous photos as a result.
