Ok, so here's the second and bigger blog post from Morgan & Brian's wedding.  Lisa and I had so much fun all day long.  It was the first time for both of us to shoot at the Center for Southern Folklore, and I can tell you that we both hope it won't be the last. After the ceremony, we stayed outside to play in the gorgeous light just before the sun set.  Then we went in and the party really got going.  Any couple who has Commisary's amazing BBQ at their wedding is alright by me. Then, we asked them to go with us out to grab a few more shots.  It took some persuading to talk our way onto Beale Street (wedding dresses don't have pockets for IDs), but we got there and got a really great shot. Once we got back a few minutes later, things really got crazy.  And finally,

Ok, so I had processed some images for a sneak peek and even thought I had made a post.  Lo and behold, I went back through the blog after talking with Morgan and realized that I hadn't actually done it. So, they get two posts for being so patient.  A big ole post will be up Sunday with even more.  But for now, here are some from the early part of the day that I loved. On to ze pics...

Ok, so this post is long overdue.  I've been working to get caught up and am working my way through the blog posts. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Darius and I headed out to the Botanic Garden for Janice & Bernard's wedding.  After they saw each other, we headed out to take some fun portraits throughout the Gardens.  I loved their chemistry together and how they had a natural flow with each other. Diane and Alisa had everything running smoothly.  After a gorgeous ceremony, we headed back to Hardin Hall and the party got started.  Everyone danced and had a great time until the couple was ready to leave. Ok, enough talk.  On to the photos...

So a few weeks ago, Lisa and I headed over to Brooks Museum for Tiffany & Chris's wedding.  The place looked great as the folks at L & Jay did a fabulous job. The moment at the start of the ceremony when Tiffany placed a flower in a chair for her dad brought tears to almost everyone's eyes.  After a beautiful ceremony, we headed over to the reception and the party really got going. Their band, 2nd Coming, were amazing and kept people on the dance floor all night. Ok, on to the photos...

I'm still working feverishly to get caught up.  I'm heading out of town this weekend to celebrate the survival of 9 weddings in six weeks. But on to the important stuff.  I met Kacie and her family several years ago when I worked in the Activities Department at Bellevue.  I saw them at the bridal show and we got to talking.  I was so excited when they called me to come in and talk about the wedding. Lisa and I headed off to Bellevue for their really fun wedding.  We had a great time with the family.  And I recognized a lot of faces from my days there. After they saw each other, we took some fun photos outside.  Their ceremony was really sweet, and Jeremy's dad officiated. I loved the two shots  we got of Kacie's grandfather, who checked himself out of the hospital in order to make sure he was there for
