Ok, I am really trying to get caught up on all of my blogging, but life is pretty crazy right now.  I have two more weddings to show you, and three to shoot this weekend. But I couldn't into the weekend without getting the last (for now) of Neelam & Eric's images up on the blog.  On Saturday, I headed over to the Botanic Gardens with Lisa and Darius.  And again, the crew from Southern Event Planners had things looking spectacular.  And between the flowers from Garden District, the food from CFY Catering, and the unbelievable cake from Cory Lewis Cakes; we were all amazed at how awesome the whole place looked. After some time together, we gathered everyone up to shoot while the rain held off.  Then after a beautiful ceremony, we all headed into Hardin Hall for the reception.  I love it when toasts get emotional, and I love it

Ok.  So after a crazy fun weekend with two weddings (blog posts coming soon), it's time to get the blog cranked up again.  Back to where we were last week. Neelam and Eric's Indian ceremony at Opera Memphis was beautiful.  There were so many details that I've done three montage images to show them all.  The ladies at Southern Event Planners did a wonderful job of putting everything together.  The whole day was a wonderful experience as I really loved seeing all of the different traditions take place. I do have to say that I had to leave in the shot where Neelam realized the fire was really starting to blaze as it was just too funny. A special thanks to Lisa and Darius for all of their help.  I was so excited that we had a chance to get some great portraits of the two of them.  Thanks to Lisa for grabbing

Ok, so this is the first of several posts that will cover Neelam & Eric's Wedding(s).  We're going to start with Thursday's event.  I went over to their home to photograph the mehndi. The food was done by the fabulous folks at CFY Catering, and you'll see a lot more of their work as we go on. Ok, on to the photos...

Ok, I have a lot to catch you up on.  Let's start with the fabulous wedding I shot a week ago in the Dominican Republic. I've known Natalie for several years.  We met when I photographed her brother's wedding.  When she told me that she was getting married in the Dominican, I replied "And...?"  Then she said, "And you're going to photograph it." So off we went to the incredibly beautiful Palma Real resort.  Despite a brief deluge, the weather cleared up in time for the ceremony.  We headed out the beach for a beautiful ceremony where they exchanged some of the most personal vows I've ever heard.  Afterwards, we took some time to shoot around the resort for a while. Alright, enough talking.  On to the photos...

So on a crazy, stormy Saturday afternoon, Darius and I headed over to Evergreen Presbyterian for an awesome wedding day. Despite the weather, spirits were high. The weather broke long enough for us to grab some shots outside before the ceremony. Afterwards, we all took off for the reception at Central Station. Angela Mazanti had the place looking fabulous. In fact, the guys from Creation Studios agreed that the place looked the best we had ever seen it. The party got going and was rolling along until the big tornado warnings. Everyone rushed off to the garage, with some liquour, to ride it out. And after everything cleared out, people headed to Paula & Raiford's Disco for the after party. Ok. On to the photos...
