Ok. So I'm still up really late because I have so much that I am processing mentally and photographically. Tomorrow, Darius and I board the train to Bordeaux. I'll make the chatter brief. Here's a quick recap. Today, I saw the Louvre, Notre Dame, Pompidou, and a lot of side streets and random places. And now on to the pics...

Paris Day One
Sep 20084 Comments »Ok. I really intended to blog this before I went to bed last night, but let's just say it was a full day. Let me start by saying that it only took one day for me to thoroughly fall in love with Paris. Everything is so amazing. I'll report more on this later, but I'm stoked for day two. So I walked most of the day, which is a great way to see the city. But when you combine it with all the stairs of the Eiffel Tower and the ones in the Arc de Triomphe, it makes for one tired body (and a couple of blisters). I also made it to Musee D'Orsay which is gorgeous. Today's agenda includes the Louvre and Notre Dame and whatever else I decide to throw in. One little note. Safe and sound in Paris
Sep 20081 Comment »Ok. So here's a quick update for everyone. I am safe and sound in Paris. No images yet as I slept most of the way over and just wanted to get here and set up. The "No Sleep Til Newark" plan worked. It's 9:30 a.m. here and I am wide awake and heading out for the day. I promise to post images from here on out.
So I'm sitting at the Memphis International Airport chilling out and waiting for my flight to Newark. I haven't slept in over 24 hours (not counting the 10 minute power nap I took at 5 a.m.), and I'm trying my hardest to stay awake until I board for France so I can get on a similar sleep schedule to what I'll have starting tomorrow. Ok. Enough about me. I have to tell you about the wedding I shot last night. Sarah came in a few months back and booked me for her wedding. I was really excited as I love what I call "intimate" coverage for weddings with fewer guests. As she described the setup for her Asian influenced wedding, I was totally stoked. The ceremony was held at the Panda Exhibit at the incredible Memphis Zoo. Then we went exploring around the zoo for a while before heading back for a
Paris or Bust!
Sep 20081 Comment »Hey there all you wonderful people. I can hardly believe that as I am writing this, I have less than 48 hours until I board the plane for France. That’s right, I’m on my way to France. Why am I headed to France you ask? Not that you need a reason to go to France, but I have a great reason. Some of you may remember Renee & Chris’s engagement session. Well, they chose to say their vows in Bordeaux, and I am honored to be the one they chose to photograph it. So I leave on Monday morning for a couple of quick days in Paris before I head to Bordeaux. Once the wedding festivities are over, I am heading back to Paris for a few more days of personal fun. What does this mean for you all? For starters, it means I have a great reason for not being able to answer
