So I’ve got to give a little extra time to tell this story.  Over a year ago, I shot Hillary & David’s wedding.  During their wedding, her sister tagged along and respectfully snapped some photos before the wedding.  Later, I found out that she was looking into wedding photography as a career.  After talking with her, I decided to help mentor her as I was mentored several years ago.

Then, we started talking about her wedding to Philip.  She hired me to photograph her wedding, and I’ve mentioned before that I am always honored to photograph other photographers.  Then she told me that the wedding would be the second weekend of August and she wanted some images outside.  I asked her if she was crazy considering the heat.  Apparently her prayers were heard, because the weather was absolutely perfect on Saturday.

I have to thank the wonderful Chuck Arlund www.arlundimagery.com for driving down to shoot with Darius and me.  We had an amazing time. 

And a HUGE thanks for the bridal party, especially the guys for their flying leap.  I don’t typically do “jump” shots, but the sky was perfect and the guys were primed for it.
