So I've got to give a little extra time to tell this story.  Over a year ago, I shot Hillary & David's wedding.  During their wedding, her sister tagged along and respectfully snapped some photos before the wedding.  Later, I found out that she was looking into wedding photography as a career.  After talking with her, I decided to help mentor her as I was mentored several years ago. Then, we started talking about her wedding to Philip.  She hired me to photograph her wedding, and I've mentioned before that I am always honored to photograph other photographers.  Then she told me that the wedding would be the second weekend of August and she wanted some images outside.  I asked her if she was crazy considering the heat.  Apparently her prayers were heard, because the weather was absolutely perfect on Saturday. Ok.  So about a week and a half ago, Darius and I headed out to the wonderful Carahills Estate  www.carahills.com for Ellie & Cody's wedding.  It was a hot day, for more than one reason.  These two are totally into each other. And let me stop to give a huge shout out to their bridal party.  They not only braved the heat for some shots downtown, they embraced my ideas completely. Ok.  Enough chatter, on to the piccies...

Ok.  So a few weeks ago, Savannah and I headed off to Bonne Terre ( www.bonneterre.com ) for Paula & Tom's wedding. For mid-July, the weather turned out to be quite mild, so we were able to get a few shots outside. The whole place was set up beautifully.  And to top it off, the cake from Miss Muff'n was really incredible ( www.missmuffnbakery.com ). Enough chatter, on to the photos...
