Ok.  So I am really far behind on blogging, but I'm catching up. Last weekend, Lisa and I loaded up the car and headed out into the country for Liz & Josh's wedding.  They wanted to get married near family.  After a really beautiful ceremony, everyone packed up and headed back to the Memphis Zoo The whole set up was designed by Southern Event Planners and the incredible food was made the always fabulous Cindy Krag of Cindy Krag Catering. Ok, enough talk from me.  On the photos...

Ok.  So I am woefully behind on blogging right now, I actually shot Renee & Chris's Engagement session last Thursday.  I have been busy getting images processed and out to the magazines for ads and other vendors.  I have three more days in a row of posts, so keep checking back. Renee & Chris are an amazing couple.  Darius and I had a total blast working with them.  We laughed with them all day and even had dinner at Blue Fin after the session ended. You will hear a lot more from them later this year when we make a trip to Bordeaux for their wedding and Day After session.  I can hardly wait to photograph such a great couple in a fabulous location. Enough talk, on to the photos...

So after a long day of travel to Hartford, CT.  I can't sleep and had to post something that was just a great experience for me this week.  When I went up to Nashville on Tuesday, I started thinkng about some of my favorite types of photography. I love street photography.  I've always been inspired by others' images, but I have never gone out to the streets to actually shoot.  So what did I do on Tuesday afternoon?  You guessed it.  I met some truly amazing people when I was out there and was blessed to get to know them. Ok.  On to the photos...

Some of you may remember the images from Megan & Nathan's incredible engagement session.  Well, their wedding was even more amazing. They got married at Grace Evangelical, which like many newer churches in the area lack the "pretty pretty" of some older churches, so I improvised.  I saw a photo recently with a background like the one you'll see in it and I thought "Gee willikers, that would be great for when I need something pretty."  (Ok, so I didn't actually think the words "Gee willikers", but it's fun to say so just humor me.) Anyways, later we ran outside for a few minutes to get shots of the lovely couple.  We found some nice shade and got some killer shots.  They were both really working it for the camera.  Then, they obliged me again on the way in to the reception. Thanks you two for giving me the freedom to try some new stuff with you, I hope

Wow.  So I am posting this just before midnight.  I promise to be a better blogger this week. Sabrina & Dave were so great.  They were totally into each other.  Lisa & I had a lot of fun watching them interact. Sabrina had an absolutely gorgeous dress.  I love the shot where her dress flared out. The ceremony was at the beautiful St. Mary's Catholic Church and the reception was at The Memphis Botanic Garden. Have a great time on the honeymoon you two.  Ok, enough talk.  On to the photos...
