I have a really big thing coming next week.  I'm putting this down because it gives me a deadline to make sure I get it up and running on time. I'll give you a few hints.  It's full screen, it kicks some serious ass, and it rhymes with dew shmebsite. Until tomorrow.

Ok.  So I was going back over all of my photos from the holidays and almost forgot all about these shots I took of my cousins and their little ones (my niece and nephew). It was one of those lazy Christmas afternoons where everyone was just hanging out and enjoying being around.  We just watched the little ones play and soaked up life. Enjoy the shots.

Ok.  So enough hype already, it's time to make the big announcement. I am putting out a call to brides who want to do something truly fun and unusual.  Let me explain.  About two years ago, I had an incredible idea to photograph brides in a very different style.  Instead of the same old traditional portrait, I want to photograph them in environmental portraits. I want to show brides in real live situations.  The shoots will be directed at getting one or two specific images, and those images will be scenes that are intended to tell a story. You don't have to be one of my clients to do this.  I am looking for fun volunteers who are willing to try something crazy. The shoots will not cost you anything.  All you have to do is be willing to wear your dress for a funky conceptual shoot.  I am not out to trash dresses, but

Ok.  So enough hype about things, this week I am rolling out several things for all you blogstalkers. The second contest is coming this week.  And I make the big announcement for the adventurous this week as well. I was hoping to show you some images from the engagement shoot I had scheduled for yesterday, but alas the weather refused to cooperate. Well, I can't leave you without any images...so here are a few from my parent's hometown of Jonesboro.  I told you I love to shoot Christmas lights.

People tried to get me to start doing Myspace, and I just refused. But when Facebook came out, I got completely hooked. I'm going to be making a Facebook group soon, so if you're using Facebook go ahead and add me now. Soon you'll be able to keep up with all of the recent happenings via Facebook. Click here to add me.
