Ok.  So there is this sort of game going around where people are “tagging” other bloggers.  As far as I know, it’s just a “photographer thing”.  Well, I got hit last week by one friend and hit this week by another, so I guess I better get my entry up fast and pass this thing on.So I’m supposed to list the people who tagged me, tell you the reader eight things about me that most of you don’t know, and then link to eight other people and send on the email. Now normally, I wouldn’t do it.  I am kinda the king of ending chain letters and forwards.  My inbox is like a black hole for those sorts of things.  But this is just too much fun. Here goes…  I was tagged by Critsey Rowe and Melissa Breedlove of Kelly Moore Photography   My list of 8 Things  The “not so secret” category.  I have a tattoo on

Wow.  So I am back from another awesome wedding, and I just have to say that I really love my couples and the freedom they give me to be creative. Megan and Nathan got married at the beautiful First Presbyterian church.  Afterwards, we stopped off at a couple of places to get some fun photos.  Then we were on to the uber cool National Ornamental Metal Museum.  The weather broke for their party, and some folks decided to really get down. An always huge thanks to the impeccable Darius for all of his great help.  Have a great honeymoon you two! Some pre-wedding favorites...          Some favorites of the couple together...          And some from the reception...

Ok.  So part of why I haven't been posting so much is that I was planning and preparing for my Open House last week.  I invited a lot of wedding vendors to an early time and then invited a bunch of fellow photographers and friends for a later time. I really wanted to show off the Photo Booth.  We are doing it at Robyn & Keith's wedding next weekend, and I am so excited.  It's pretty crazy about what happens when you get a group of photographers in front of a camera.  And yes, I let Lisa take the initial photos you see with me and my wine. So I am using this as an opportunity to announce that the Photo Booth is officially available for wedding clients.  The cost is $750 and will include a second photographer on the day. Ok.  Enough chatter, on to the photos...

Wow.  I feel like such a horrible blogger.  I have a couple of posts this week that will show why I haven't been on here as much as I wished. Ok.  That's all the news I can muster at the moment.  I am posting at 2 a.m. because I was so incredibly stoked from Deanna & Landon's wedding. See, I knew I was going to enjoy the wedding when Deanna kept talking about how much she loved the "heads shot" (see the first image on my main site for a reference).  Then I later saw she and Landon at The White Stripes concert, and I knew this was a couple who would be up for some real fun. So I started working on a very different version of the "heads shot" that can be referred to as the "masks shot" for now.  I was so grateful that they gave me time between the

Ok.  While I am catching up on blog posts, I thought I would post some shots of the really cool Cayce Harris.  I met Cayce through my good friend Lisa.  Lisa asked me back in June if I wanted to go out and just take some really fun shots of Cayce (who should be having her kid any day now). So we gathered up my lights and went out by Shelby Farms to do some funky maternity shots.  There are a couple on Lisa's blog at http://kiralisa.wordpress.com/ Also, you can check out Cayce at http://cayceclaire.com/ Ok.  Enough chatter, check out the pics...
