Wow, it feels like months since my last post. So I really wanted to have this up yesterday, but the holiday rush is on and there are lots of things brewing. On to the business at hand. Some of you loyal readers will remember "Krissy & Tim's Wedding" from October of last year. Becca is Krissy's sister. She and Jake called me several months ago, and I was really excited to meet with them and hear about all of the plans for their wedding. The ceremony was at the incredibly beautiful Germantown Presbyterian Church . I was privileged to have Lisa and Darius with me again. Lisa did a great job of running around getting detail shots and some other angles. And Darius makes my job so much easier. So anyone in the Memphis area knows that Saturday's weather was not ideal for being outside. But after a beautiful private moment and all of the group shots

Becca & Jake’s Wedding
Dec 20071 Comment »
So Saturday afternoon, Lisa and I headed over to the Nineteenth Century Club ( www.19thcc.com ) for a really fun wedding. Angela at Southern Event Planners ( www.southerneventplanners.com ) helped connect Angela & Chris with me for their wedding. Erica has a great style. From the dress, to the flowers, to the caterer, to the venue...Erica's choices were awesome. Chris loved him some Heineken. After all, it is all about the beer. I love the way they held each other so tight during the first dance. It was like it was just the two of them together and no one else. After everyone had gotten some of the amazing food that Cindy Krag made. Before we left for the night, I had to do some sexy shots with them out front. Thanks for being such great sports and have a great time in the Virgin Islands. Enough chit chat, on to the piccies...
Ok. So I should really be asleep right now. Actually, I should have been in bed 4 hours ago, but I was too excited to sleep. I had to get on here and post about the really great engagement session I shot on Saturday. Latasha & Vashaun met up with Savannah & I Saturday for some fun around mid-town. I have to give a lot of credit to her for lending the invaluable female perspective. They wanted to stop and take a few shots at Tucker street since that is his last name (and her's later next year). It didn't take much direction to get them all warmed up and hot for each other. I asked them as we were walking if they had picked up on my love for grafitti, and they had no trouble answering "Yes." Well, I had been holding out on using this spot for a while and just felt
Emily & Ethan’s Wedding
Nov 20072 Comments »Wow. I have so much to tell you about this wedding. Let's start at the beginning. I first met Emily at my day job (which I keep because it has great insurance and is only 20 hours per week). Later, I saw her and Ethan at the July bridal show and they asked if I was shooting the wedding of some of their friends, Leigh Ann and Brad. Then, I saw them at Leigh Ann & Brad's wedding and she told me that I had to shoot her wedding. Who was I to argue? Emily & Ethan's wedding is the first one under my "new style" (which I'll explain in a post soon). I want to send a very special thanks out to both Lisa ( www.kiralisa.com ) and Darius. Lisa came and second shot for me and Darius helped out with everything else. I truly couldn't have done it without them. Lisa
So Saturday's wedding had the three essential "C"s...chipmunks, cheese, and the Cadre. When Arron and I arrived at Community of Faith Christian Church, we saw the bride's brother and father running around trying to capture "Chip and Dale" who tried to sneak in to watch the ceremony. They finally caught the two and escorted them out of the church. I have to sneak in the "cheese" reference because Nikki's dad had to say it on every family shot we took. Then after the ceremony, we loaded up and went downtown to the third floor of the Cadre Building, which was gorgeous as always. After the really great food from Delectables of Memphis, the party really started and well...just look at the images. I hadn't done a paint with light image in quite a while, so we set up a shot that I really love before heading to the Hilton where they were staying to grab
